Elaine Allen Fine Art

Elaine Allen

Unique Impressionism

Throughout Elaine Allen's adult life, the search for artistic expression has taken her down several paths. All were but precursors to the discovery of brush, paint and canvas.

After her start in 1997, she has been recognized by multiple juried entries in the National Small Oil Exhibit, selling her work at the exhibit as well. She was also received Kansas State Fair Awards in the Professional Fine Arts Exhibition. Elaine has had one woman shows at The Delmar Riney Gallery of Art in Pratt, Kansas, as well as the Eaton Gallery in Wichita, Kansas.

Currently, Elaine is a member of the prestigious Oil Painters of America, Wichita Women Artists, and the Kansas Academy of Oil Painters, all juried organizations with limited membership. She is an active member and past President of Wichita Oil Painting Society, where she won Artist of the Year and the envied Gold Award (best of the Best of Show,) for several years.

She has been invited to participate in the Biennale Internazionale delle'arte in Florence, Italy for 2007.

There have been several articles written on her blend of artistry through delicate brushstrokes and bold colors, which gives her work a quality not often seen. Her work will be showcased in the "Best of American Artists" publication for 2006.

Ms. Allen has her works in private collections throughout the United States and Russia.
